Been dealing with this for 8 years now. I have stuck to my medications, lost 114 pounds, workout daily, watch what I eat, take time to rest, (unfortunately on that last one my loved ones don't get that one sometimes and it really frustrates me.)

So many tips and advice I can give:

  1. Join a support group
  2. Talk to someone you trust about how you are feeling, don't hold emotions in
  3. Meditate and practice self-care
  4. Create a daily routine and workout everyday. Stay moving and get moving
  5. Listen to your doctor but communicate with him/her what you want to gain from treatment, your concerns and questions
  6. Write down questions before each doctor appointment and have a family member, friend or loved on join you in the room to help take notes and be a support system
  7. Look into diet changes and seek a nutritionist/dietician
  8. Seek a functional, integrative, holistic, integrative medical professional to help you uncover root causes at play 8.Take a good multivitamin and supplements to support your body; turmeric, fish oil, boswellia, magnesium, iron, vitamin d3, are some that are important
